Hello. My name is Dr. Sahar Nadimi from the Chicago Hair Institute. I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois. I did my undergraduate at Northwestern University in Evanston, followed by medical school at the University of Illinois, and I then did a residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at Loyola University in Maywood. During my residency, Dr. Raymond Konior was a mentor of mine and I would come to his practice frequently and observe him in cases.
Following my residency, I did a facial plastic and reconstructive fellowship out in San Francisco with Dr. Corey Maas and Sheldon Kabaker. During my fellowship, I did a lot of facial plastics and hair transplant cases along with hairline lowering surgeries, and during fellowship, I did develop an interest in female hair loss, just because this is a very common complaint and it can negatively impact women.
So my goal coming back to Chicago and joining Dr. Konior's practice, one of the goals was to establish a comprehensive female hair loss clinic, and in addition to this, I also do facial plastics procedures, both surgical and non-surgical.
