In some cases, Dr. Konior and Dr. Nadimi may not recommend retreatment. The most common reason for not performing retreatment is a lack of sufficient follicles or donor graft availability. In instances where the donor site is depleted, both the donor site and the hairline will require repair before retreatment is possible.
Another reason Dr. Konior may not recommend retreatment is if a previous follicular unit extraction (FUE) or strip harvesting has resulted in significant scarring and lack of sufficient hair. In some cases, when there is not enough hair on the scalp, Dr. Konior can take follicles from elsewhere on the body.

I give the highest marks possible to Dr. Sahar Nadimi and her staff. Dr. Nadimi is a very skilled surgeon, and I found her communication skills before, during, and after surgery, to be of the highest order. The staff put me at ease throughout, and they allowed me to come in on as many days post surgery for washing or check up as I wanted. I felt very taken care of. The surgery I received was an FUT hair restoration, mainly of the front hairline, to cover an old scar, along with a few additional grafts in the crown region. My experience at the Chicago Hair Institute Clinic was A+++, and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you.
