Raymond J. Konior, MD, FACS
A Chicago native, Dr. Konior began his professional studies at the University of Illinois, where he graduated with honors before moving on to the University of Illinois School of Medicine. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Konior completed a surgical residency in head and neck surgery at Northwestern University. He followed his residency with a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas. The combination of hair transplant and cosmetic surgery training helps Dr. Konior consistently achieve convincing, natural-looking results.
In 1998, Dr. Konior formed the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery with 14 other hair transplant surgeons to bring professional legitimacy and oversight to the field of surgical hair restoration.
Dr. Konior has been voted one of the best doctors in Chicago by numerous publications, including Chicago Magazine, Woodward & White's, "Guide to the Best Doctors in America," and the Castle Connolly guide, "Top Doctors in the Chicago Metro Area."
Sahar Nadimi, MD
A double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and hair restoration surgeon, Dr. Nadimi has dedicated her professional career to aesthetic surgery of the head and neck.
One of only a small number of female surgeons specializing in hair restoration surgery in the United States, Dr. Nadimi is a Chicago native who completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University. While attending medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago, she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society before graduating at the top of her medical school class.
Dr. Nadimi completed her residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, where she also served as chief resident. After completing her residency, she moved on to a fellowship program in hair restoration surgery, facial plastic surgery, and reconstructive surgery under the guidance of international leaders and scholars in each respective subject.

I just got an FUE hair transplant with them and I am very happy with how the procedure went. Dr. Nadimi Was great. She really took the time to go over the whole procedure, the pros and cons and answer any questions I had. Nothing felt rushed. The surgery itself was not as bad as I was anticipating. The only part that was uncomfortable was receiving the numbing injections but after I could not feel anything. The pain afterwards was very minimal. The Valium they give you does make you drowsy so I was out of it for about half of the time of the operation itself. It’s not cheap, it’s $9 per graft and I got 1,000. If you are considering a transplant, I would recommend Chicago Hair Institute.

This patient requested surgical correction of a very high frontal hairline. The specific goals were to create a natural, feminine look and to improve the appearance of the brows. We planned a staged repair and began by performing a pretrichial to advance the existing hairline forward and to enhance the shape of the brows. We then used trichophytic hairline repair to encourage hair growth through the frontal incision line. Six months later, we completed the final stage of restoration with ultra-refined follicular unit grafting.

I give the highest marks possible to Dr. Sahar Nadimi and her staff. I'm from out of state and found the Chicago Hair Institute during a Google search, and I'm glad I did. Dr. Nadimi is a very skilled surgeon, and I found her communication skills before, during, and after surgery, to be of the highest order. The staff put me at ease throughout, and they allowed me to come in on as many days post surgery for washing or check up as I wanted. I felt very taken care of. The surgery I received was an FUT hair restoration, mainly of the front hairline, to cover an old scar, along with a few additional grafts in the crown region. Dr Nadimi and all the staff here are exceptional! Very friendly environment for nervous patients like my 6 and 8 year old sons who required stitches on their faces. Dr Nadimi and the nurses/medical assistants went above and beyond to distract my boys to make it a seamless experience for us.
